Word Cove Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Word Cove ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Word Cove is a mobile word-search puzzle game in which letter grids form shapes, organized into themed packs with multiple levels. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

3. Eligibility

Word Cove is suitable for general audiences. If you are a minor, you should use the App and make any purchases only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

4. In-App Purchases and Payments

4.1 Free Content

The first three levels (Levels 1–3) of every pack are free to play. Unlocking the remaining levels (Levels 4–8) of a pack requires a one-time in-app purchase.

4.2 Pricing

Each pack unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase of $0.99 USD. Prices may vary by region according to Apple's pricing tiers.

4.3 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• These are one-time purchases (non-consumables). There is no subscription, and nothing renews automatically — you are never charged again for a pack you have unlocked.
• Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on your devices using "Restore Purchases."

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries — we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and its content for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, or republish the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App or its content for any commercial purpose
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use automated means to access or scrape content
• Attempt to bypass purchase or unlock controls

6. Intellectual Property

All content in Word Cove — including puzzle designs, word lists, shapes, artwork, icons, typography, design, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content

Word Cove does not accept user-submitted content. Your progress, streak, best times, and settings are stored locally on your device only.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information (in short: we don't collect any).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected promptly
• The App is free of harmful components

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
