Little Steps Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Little Steps ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. Because the App is made for young children, these Terms are entered into by the parent or legal guardian who installs the App and sets it up for a child.

2. Description of Service

Little Steps is a mobile game in which a child lays arrow cards to guide Mo, a small turtle, across a board to a goal, earning a sticker for every level and decorating scenes with them. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial, educational entertainment use.

3. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

Little Steps is designed for children aged 3–5 and is offered in the App Store Kids category. A parent or legal guardian must install the App, make any purchase and access the parent settings. Parent-only areas (settings, purchase, restore and any link out of the App) are placed behind a parent PIN; the parent or guardian is responsible for keeping that PIN between the child and those areas.

4. In-App Purchase and Payments

4.1 Free Content

The forest scene — its levels and its stickers — is free to play and never expires.

4.2 Full Unlock

"Full Unlock" is a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that opens every other scene and every future scene. Its price is shown on the purchase screen (behind the parent PIN) and may vary by region according to Apple's pricing tiers. Stickers and other in-game rewards are earned by playing and are never sold.

4.3 Billing

• Payment is charged to the purchasing adult's Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• This is a one-time purchase (non-consumable). There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically — you are never charged again.
• The purchase is tied to the Apple ID used to buy it and can be restored on your devices using "Restore purchases" in the parent settings.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries — we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and its content for your household's personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute or republish the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App
• Use the App or its content for any commercial purpose
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices
• Use automated means to access or scrape content
• Attempt to bypass purchase, unlock or parent-PIN controls

6. Intellectual Property

All content in Little Steps — including level designs, Mo and the other characters, stickers, scene artwork, sounds, typography, design and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content

Little Steps does not accept user-submitted content and has no text input. Progress, stickers, scene decorations and settings are stored locally on your device only.

8. Privacy

Little Steps collects no personal information from anyone. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected promptly
• The App is free of harmful components
• The App will produce any particular educational outcome

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
